ReplyDeleteI absolutely think kids should be paid for their good grades. They work hard making good grades, all the effort they put into their grades. I also think it's a good idea because they can learn that they get a reward if they do something good, they will learn that if they do something good they can get something good out of it. My only concern would be where will the money come from?

ReplyDeleteMy name is Ama and I think that kids should not be paid for good grades. Kids should just be grateful that teachers have taught them and helped them get good grades. If you get money for getting good grades, some children will be tempted to cheat.
This won't help you get a good education, and more and more kids would become dishonest, and will develop bad qualities. So altogether, I think it is highly unnecessary for kids to get paid.
I think no. I think this because its unfair on kids who didn't get good grades. and if you got paid, kids would cheat for the money. And how exactly would anybody be able to pay for that?! The government would be broke by now if students were paid! And I don't think that the bank is going to want to be paying kids all over NZ. And what about kids bragging? Some kids will be rich and show of to everyone, making those kids sad. And some kids who aren't rich might get angry and start bullying the rich kids, which would be not cool. so, no. Do NOT pay kids! what are they going to invest in? Bye!

ReplyDeleteOf course we should be paid for good grads. I think it will make kids work harder and act better. I LOVE MONEY! The only question is who will pay the kids? Will it be Teachers,Parents,the school? We could be paid by lollies or sport gear anything. Then again it could go wrong because what will the kids spend it on? maybe they will use $20 on a GAME. Witch I think is way too much. It will be a good idea but I don't think it will work. If you would like to see my blog go to

I think they should be paid for having good grades because if they know they are going to be paid then they would learn harder to earn good grades so they can be paid. Yes I agree that bribing is not a good thing but if it motivates them to learn harder then so be it. The children should be paid by the parents and they should be paid $20 for good grades. Though the children receive good grades every term they should be paid at the end of term 2 if $10 and then the other $10 should be paid at the end of the year. The children should only be paid if they get a good grade. If they get a bad grade then they should not be paid. If they get a medium grade at the end of term 2 then they should be paid $5 only and if it is medium grade at the end of the year then still $5. Those are my thoughts on " should children be paid if they get good grades." Thank you for reading.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion I think that Children should not be paid for good grades, but I do think that they should be able to celebrate. Parents giving their children money for good grades is unnecessary and also parents already spend enough money on their children. Plus some kids when they get paid they sometimes go out and brag about it to the children who don't get that opportunity. So my answer is No they should not get paid for their good grades.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, no. Just because children get good grades doesn't mean they should be getting paid. To me this means that you are trying to negotiate with your parents. It's like taking control of your parents. Maybe if you did a chore or two then you could get one dollar or two but getting good grades doesn't mean you should get paid!
Even though I would like to be paid for good grades, I don't think that we should be paid for good grades. It wouldn't be fair on students that might not have very good grades because their better at something else. Schools would be split in half, 1 side would be kids that are rich due to their good grades and the other half would be kids that don't get as good grades so they don't have as much money. The money would have to come from somewhere as well. So unless one of the schools teachers is a billionaire, I doubt that schools would be very encouraged to give money to students that do well. Schools would be closed down because they ran out of money to pay for everything, then there would be no schools left and the next generation wouldn't have a education unless they got it under control. That is why overall I think that we shouldn't get money for good grades.
ReplyDeleteI think that students should not be paid because the techers will get less money and they are trying to get more money. My next reason is we will get paid for learning and we like to learn. So you are getting paid for a free exspeireince of learning so it is just bad for us to get paid. My last reason is we will probably just spend on dumb things we wil probably just spend the money because we have it which is dumb decision. That is why I think that we should not be getting paid money.
ReplyDeleteNo, because only some kids can get good marks. It is good to try your best. Sometimes you might try your best but you don't get good grades. You should get a little money for trying your best. You should do things really hard to get money.(try really hard) You could get money for trying really hard with your schoolwork. I try hard with my schoolwork so I should get a prize.
ReplyDeleteYes because they work really hard and also they spend there time working instead going and playing outside with there family or there friends. It also great because they can go and by something good for working hard and getting to a high grad and there parents will be really proud of what you achieved.

ReplyDeleteI think they should not be paid because if they want money so much they would just search it up if there answer is correct of wrong.Here's another reason if you are getting good grades and you are getting money by the end of this there parents would already be brook because your child has been taking all of your money. Here's the last one anyways what could a kid even want to buy.

and the younger ones don't. and then there will be more and more bullying so that's why i think kids shouldn't get paid for good grades.
I think children can be paid for good grades, It can help them with their parents and stuff they need for school,can help with our environment and property we need. We can help with the community and it can work positive with our community,parents,school and church. It can also help with donations with the people who are poor and live out in the streets. Money can help with sick pets and helping the government it also helps with what you might need,but it can always be a good thing....

YES! They should be payed with money, candy and toys. It will go like this, so the primmest gives the money to the teachers and the teachers give the money to us once we have earned it. All students should get it. Also in Assembly with your sitifecet. you should get 50 dollars if your at the highest level.

ReplyDeleteI think that students should get paid by the goverment if they get very good grades im talking about very good grades though like A's and that and they have to be good in multiple topics not just one. a reson why they should get paid fo good grades is because it encourages them to study and not just play video games. a secound reson students should get paid for good grades is because we want our children to be smart so they can solve issues like climate change.

ReplyDeleteI think that we shouldn't be paid because grads is not something that you should be paid for something that you should be doing for work and it's wasting your parents money.and you'll get into that happen I'm getting paid every good great again and it's really bad because it can get a lot of money but it's not good for kids to be thinking every time they do something you'll get money for it cause you should just been doing it because it should be to help people.it is also not good to have it because it is a bad thing to look at a young age and adults will soon you'll be giving money to your kids for jobs as well.

But if we have to do a test a do really well we can go home and celebrate not get money from the school. By the way who would give us the money the school has a supply of money but not to give to us its for fun events like camp. That means the people that would pay us is the teachers that is bad.
ReplyDeleteI think children should get paid for good grades because first of all if the children have the expected levels or over the should get paid because they worked really hard to get the expected levels. Second of all I think children should get paid for good grades because then they could help their family if the family needs money. I think the children should get their money at the end of every term because we set goals every term so I think if the children reach their goal they can get money. I think the children should get $10 if they reach this goal and I think the money should come out of the teachers bank or the schools bank. Now you know why I think we should get paid.
ReplyDeleteI think no because there grades might go up then come back and if they stay that level, then there will be no point of getting paid and also the teacher aren't always rich then they might have to go back on a teacher strike and that is why I think we shouldn't get paid for our grades.
ReplyDeleteI don't think children should get paid if they get good grades. It's because some younger kids might not know what to do with it. If they do, the school might not have enough money to pay for other things. Also, if they have a younger sibling they might get a little jealous.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think students should get paid for getting high grades. I think this because they can start to save up for college. College is alot of money and some parents can't afford college so if they get paid for high grades they can save up enough to go to a great school. They can get paid for high grades at the end of each term. if they are where they are suppost to be that can be $10 dollars and if they are higher then they are suppost to be than that can be $15 dollars. The parents should pay them every month and the parents should pay them not the teachers because the teachers are the ones who each the students and help them learn. I think that this should go on until the end of intermediate.
